SCOTT CARLSON, PT, DPT
Owner / Lead Physical Therapist
An Austin-Native, Scott has always had a desire to assist others in achieving their health goals, and has strived to build a patient-driven physical therapy practice that gives back to the community.
After he gained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University, Scott achieved his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX.
Scott specializes in all orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehab, Sport/CrossFit injuries, balance retraining, neuromuscular reeducation, stroke recovery programs, postpartum therapy, general injury prevention, and pediatrics.
In addition to the well-known aspects of physical therapy (therapeutic exercise and manual therapy), Scott incorporates other innovative techniques and approaches in his practice, which enables him to configure every plan of care uniquely to each patient. With that, Scott is trained and certified in Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, Kinesiotaping, and the Neubie.
Scott loves being a husband to his dear wife, Avery, and a father to his two children, Lydia and Nolan. He loves mountain biking, snow skiing, softball, Spikeball, and obstacle course/trail running.
